Governor Greg Abbott today announced that the OneStar Foundation has established a single webpage for donations to support the families of the victims, teachers and the community of Uvalde during this time of healing following the shooting earlier this week. The OneStar Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, will direct 100% of donations to the Robb School Memorial Fund, which was established by First State Bank of Uvalde to ensure immediate financial support for those affected by the horrific tragedy in Robb Elementary School. The funds will be used to cover immediate needs, such as health expenses, flights and travel for families and loved ones, funeral costs, as well as long-term needs to support community recovery.

“As the community of Uvalde mourns this terrible crime, we have seen an outpouring of support from Texans and residents across the country offering to help during this heartbreaking time,” Governor Abbott said. “Donations of any amount to the OneStar Foundation webpage will go a long way in letting these grieving families, teachers and loved ones know that they are not alone as they begin the long and difficult process of rebuilding. of their lives.
