Louisiana Monroe University has redesigned and launched a new web page for the Office of the President on ulm.edu.

It has been many years since the President’s web page has been updated to reflect the changing culture of the university. It was a priority for President Ron Berry to have ULM information readily available and presented in an organized format.

Berry’s vision for the university is stated clearly on the front page, “…ULM must continue to transform lives and serve as a catalyst to break the cycle of poverty in northeast Louisiana and bring real equality, inclusion and opportunity to all citizens of our region.”

Some of the features of the President’s Office webpage include:

The About section features President Berry and his wife, First Lady Christine Berry, Ph.D., and their family, as well as a history of the President’s office and staff. The President’s Media Kit includes biographies of the President and First Lady, statements and quotes, ULM facts, and high-res photos for download.

The Communications section includes recent news, messages from Berry, an event request link, as well as photos and videos.

Institutional Progress is a one-stop-shop for Mission and Vision, Strategic Planning, Facilities Master Plan, Economic Impact, and Opportunity Fund.

There is information about the Executive Council, Board of Trustees, and Shared Governance on the Leadership page, which includes Faculty Senate, Staff Senate, and Student Government.

The Take Flight with ULM section is packed with information for future and current students – ranging from scholarship information to the student handbook.

The Contact page contains the university calendar, how to reach the rector’s staff and a link to the media kit.

Each section is simplified but filled with information. With a dynamic design, new photos, and continually updated content, there are many reasons to visit the new Office of the President (http://www.ulm.edu/president) webpage often on ulm.edu .
